A Mediterranean cruise eSIM that doesn't stop at Turkey

Most "Europe" eSIMs cover the EU and quietly leave out Turkey and Montenegro — two of the most common stops on Greek Isles and Adriatic sailings. The Mediterranean Port Pass covers 30+ countries, Turkey included, from $13.99.

Get the Mediterranean Port Pass

Set it up in 2 minutes

  1. Before you leave, on home WiFi: scan the QR code from your order email (Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM). Installing doesn't start the clock.
  2. On the ship: leave the eSIM off and use airplane mode + ship WiFi at sea.
  3. At port: turn the eSIM line on and enable data roaming for the eSIM only. Keep your main line's data roaming off so your carrier can't bill you.

Questions

Is Turkey (Kusadasi / Ephesus) covered?

Yes. Turkey is included in the Mediterranean Port Pass, so Kusadasi works on the same eSIM as Athens and Santorini. That's the most common gap in generic Europe plans.

What about Montenegro (Kotor)?

Kotor is listed on our Greek Isles & Adriatic itinerary as covered. Montenegro isn't in the EU, so check that any other plan you compare explicitly lists it.

Does the same pack work for a Norwegian fjords cruise?

Yes. Norway is covered by the same Europe-wide pack, so Bergen, Geiranger and Stavanger all work.

How much data for a 7–10 night Med cruise?

Med itineraries are port-heavy, often a port every day. 5GB suits most people; pick 10GB if you'll hotspot a travel partner or upload lots of video.

Does it work at sea?

No. Use ship WiFi at sea and keep the phone in airplane mode so it doesn't connect to the ship's maritime network, which is billed separately and expensively.
